General Terms and Conditions

Scope of application

  1. These general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as GTC) apply to purchase contracts concluded by private and/or legal persons via the online store of Chairzone GmbH.
  2. Furthermore, these GTC apply to purchase contracts that are concluded in ways other than those specified in section 1.1 (e.g. by telephone, letter, fax, e-mail, etc.).

Prices

  1. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) .
  2. All prices include VAT, processing fees and shipping costs.
  3. Chairzone GmbH reserves the right to change prices at any time.
  4. In the event of discrepancies, the prices and conditions stated in the online store at the time of the order shall apply.

Payment

Chairzone GmbH accepts the following payment methods:

  • Prepayment
  • Payment on account (within 30 days of receipt of invoice, credit check is carried out automatically) 
  • Payment by credit card (Mastercard, Visa)
  • Payment with TWINT
  • Bank transfer via PostFinance

Terms of delivery

  1. For all items available from stock the stated delivery period applies from the order date.
  2. Different delivery times apply for unavailable items according to the item description.
  3. Delivery within Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein is exclusively free of charge by carrier bus to the kerbside of the customer's place of residence. For operational reasons, it is not possible to collect the items yourself.
  4. The benefit and risk of the delivery shall be transferred to the buyer or the commissioned forwarding agent as soon as the goods leave the warehouse.
  5. In the case of a later delivery (due to a correspondingly selected desired date on the part of the customer), the due date for payment on account remains 10 days after receipt of the invoice. This also applies to items that are in arrears and can therefore only be shipped at a later date.

Warranty conditions

  1. The warranty periods are:
    ・5 years
    ・Unless expressly stated otherwise, the warranty service is a complete warranty.
  2. Chairzone GmbH guarantees that the goods have the warranted characteristics, have no defects that impair their value or suitability for the intended use, and comply with the prescribed services and specifications for the period specified at the time of purchase.

Notification of defects

  1. All complaints for defects that occur in items delivered by Chairzone GmbH will only be considered if they are made within 7 days after receipt of the goods verbally, in writing (letter, e-mail) or by telephone
  2. Claims for defects in connection with normal wear and tear or improper handling are expressly excluded.

Data protection

  1. Chairzone GmbH undertakes to ensure security in systems, programs, etc. that belong to it or over which it has influence, in accordance with the current technical regulations, and to ensure compliance with data protection.
  2. For all systems, programs, etc. which do not belong to Chairzone GmbH or over which it has no influence (e.g. user identifications of customers for the online store), compliance with the technical regulations and data protection is the responsibility of the respective owner. Chairzone GmbH also points out that it is in the customer's own interest to keep all sensitive data (e.g. passwords, credit card numbers, etc.) secret from third parties.
  3. Chairzone GmbH assumes no liability of any kind for security defects, system failures of programs or systems of third-party companies that cooperate with Chairzone GmbH or on which it is dependent.
  4. Chairzone GmbH accepts no liability for security deficiencies, system failures etc. caused by force majeure, disregard of possible risks by customers or third parties, unauthorized equipment of the customer or third parties, extreme environmental influences, interventions or disturbances by customers or third parties (viruses, worms, hacking, etc.) and despite compliance with the current security regulations.

Scope of use

  1. All rights, in particular rights of use and copyrights to the contributions, articles, photos, etc. made available are the exclusive property of Chairzone GmbH in relation to the user.

Place of jurisdiction and applicable law

  1. These GTC are governed exclusively by Swiss law and, unless otherwise provided by law, by the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
  2. The place of jurisdiction and place of performance for both parties is 8105 Regensdorf.
  3. Registered office: Allmendstrasse 2, CH-8105 Regensdorf.

Entry into force of the GTC

  1. These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) come into force with immediate effect.
